If you have any photos you want posted, pls. email to agnes@riderslodge.com.my Most glorious weekend, 6th & 7th February was perfect for the annual show. The show had 12 events in dressage, show jumping, gymkhana and the unique and exciting Team event of Horse Riding and Golf Buggy driving.
One of the highlights of the show is the Fancy Dress (Horse & Rider) Competition. Such a sight to see “Invisible Rider Ariel”, “General Ashley Tan”, “Dashing Zorro”, bitchy “Cruella Tanja De Ville” on her Dalmatian Rocky, “ Bride Aubrey & Groom Sophie, beautiful “Flower Princess Isabelle”, the mysterious “Golden Fairy Rebecca” and the very original “Living Face book” of Oliver and Casper. The very original and authentic costumes and decorations of horses were stunning, leaving the judges and spectators in awe. Top prize went to Aubrey & Sophie who showed us the “wedding proposal” at the paddock. The bridal gown, black tie outfit and very pretty Mathilda was “Picture Perfect”…watch for photos in the website…coming soon.

March School Holiday Riding Camps... Send your kid for a riding holiday at Riders Lodge…morning begins with feeding the horses…grooming horses. After breakfast, they have riding lessons with new found friends (or bring their buddies along) – great experience to learn and have fun!

Beginner Riders Camps (2D/1N)
Minimum age: 8 years and above Camp includes: Basic Horse care and saddling, over 3 hours of mounted riding lessons, video review of riding lessons plus full camp schedule which includes cooking with the chef, craft class – certificate is awarded.

Novice & Intermediate Riding Camps (3D/2N) Minimum requirement: Novice and Intermediate level riders at Riders Lodge or other riding schools. Camp includes: Riding Lessons based on level of riding. Train on how to improve position, seat, balance, equitation skills, use different horses to improve rider “feeling” with horses, over 5 hours of mounted riding lessons. Video feedback on lessons.

Certificate will be awarded and FREE CAMP Cool T-Shirt to all the Campers! Campers need no chaperones but if parent wishes to stay, special discounted rates apply to accompanying parents.
